My approach…
I believe that at the center of all of us is a pure being – a core “Self”. Through difficult experiences, big and little traumas, and complex relationships, we learn to adapt in ways that can make it hard to live our fullest lives. When it comes to relationships, our previously-helpful strategies can lead us to feel stuck or out of control. My aim is to help you rediscover who you are at your core and grow into a life that reflects that.
I strive to be a collaborative therapist. I want therapy to be something you look forward to; to feel like it’s yours. My style is warm and compassionate. I encourage growth and will advocate for your goals, but also meet you where you are at each day. I strive to create an environment of understanding, safety, and curiosity.
I am LQBTQIA+ affirming and welcome all forms of diversity. I strongly value the multifaceted aspects and identities of my clients.
Education and Additional Trainings:
I completed my BA in Psychology at Gonzaga University and MS in Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University. I have been trained formally in Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy, The Gottman Method (Level 1), and Lifespan Integration trauma therapy (Level 2). I also incorporate methods from Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Attachment science. I love this field and am committed to continuously learning and expanding my scope.
